Specialist Dyslexia Tuition

ALL TUITION SPACES ARE CURRENTLY FULLY BOOKED

Lessons are very structured and cumulative, which allows for over-learning, which is essential for learners with literacy difficulties/dyslexia.

Each lesson is taught using a multi-sensory approach and consists of various activities to boost transferable skills that will support learning in the classroom. 

These include: 

​

  • Alphabet and sequencing

  • Phonemic and phonological awareness

  • Memory activities

  • Reading

  • Writing and punctuation

  • Spelling

  • Handwriting 

 

Games and ICT are also used to support over-learning.

Sessions last for 50 minutes and are booked in termly blocks (usually 6-8 weeks).

​

1-2-1 tuition fees are £40 per session paid termly in advance.

Group tuition fees are £30 per session paid termly in advance.

 

Group sessions have a maximum of 3 students.
