This is a literacy assessment for children in Years 1-3 that require targeted intervention but are too young for a Dyslexia Diagnostic Assessment.

A Literacy Learning Assessment will take approximately 2 hours and include a range of formal and informal assessment tasks which explore reading, writing and spelling skills as well as some aspects of cognitive processing, e.g., memory and phonological awareness.

 

Following the assessment session, a detailed report will be completed and emailed within 10 working days. The report will include a summary of the background information provided by home and school, information about each activity completed, identification of individual strengths and areas for development and detailed recommendations to inform future teaching and intervention.

A Literacy Learning Assessment costs £300. 

 

£100 non-returnable deposit to secure a date, with the final amount payable on the day of the assessment.
